Boom! I am alive.

Caught up by the wave;

Swept away.

Now I see, I could have been.

I know now that I never really was,

Until today, when my world fell away.

The 'me' I abandoned would have...

I don't remember him anymore.

I feel the winds rising up to take

My ashes away. If I had known I was

Going to die today, I would have dressed a little

Nicer. But, I didn't even know me.

How come I have made it this

Far, why haven't I died before?

The waves come to take me out to

Sea, all the things that I

Have done mean nothing,

I have never felt so alive.

I am proud to say I see the

Light at the beginning of it all.

I drowned in the light and I am

Swept up by the air around me.
